The over 6 lbs sturdy steel construction offers up to 100 lbs loading capacity. Convenient quick-release tabs on both mounting brackets stay hidden, and easily pull down to unlock the TV from the wall plate for cable access while its low-profile design places the TV nearly flush to the wall for a clean appearance. The 27.4" wide wall plate will support two stud installation for studs up to 24-Inch apart (most US homes have studs which are 16-Inch apart). I searched for a Flat Screen TV Wall Mount at my local stores and the lowest price I could find was $90 before tax. This seemed way overpriced for such a simple device, so after a little search on Amazon, I found this product. The product is sturdily constructed and it securely holds my 52" TV. While there is no tilt feature, I don't need one and so I am fine with it. In addition, the mount comes with an extra little bonus - a built-in level to ensure an even installation.
I am happy with this product and I recommend it to anyone who wants a low-priced, sturdy mount.

We're in earthquake country now, so a wall mount is a smart investment if you don't want your TV to fall over during a tremor. For the price... IT'S A STEAL! Very inexpensive, but extremely solid product. Can't believe how easy it was to install either, considering some companies charge $170 to mount a TV nowadays. All it takes is 4 (sizable) screws into your wall studs, 4 smaller screws into the VESA mount on your TV, two more to secure it once the bracket is hung, and that screen is up there SOLID. You'd be a fool not to jump on this if you're in the market for a wall mount.

I have installed two of these this week. The first, on an unobstructed wall, was a snap. The hardest part was finding wall studs. Tightening the locking screws was a little difficult, but not bad. The mount is sturdy, simple, and functional. I had no problems with the mounting screws, did not need spacers, and found the attached level as accurate as my own (or as accurate as my workmanship.) The second installation was in a cabinet alcove built into my new house. Everything went as before, until it came time to tighten the locking screws. The bottom of the TV is only about 4 inches above the cabinet below, the sides are obstructed by other cabinetry, and, of course, the low-profile mount puts the TV only about 1 1/2 inches from the wall. So far, I have found no way to reach the locking screws. (I am not too worried about this; I think only an earthquake will bring it down without being locked.)
If you are mounting this on a readily accessible wall, give it 5 gold stars... Read more
